Finale Viewer Installation Instructions

1. Download Finale Viewer by clicking on this link.

2. Enter your e mail address and click on "continue download".

3. Choose "click here to download".

4. Choose "save" and save the download file to a suitable location (for example your Desktop).

5. Install the Finale Viewer by double-clicking on the downloaded file, which should be called "WinFinViewer".

Tips

- It is highly recommended to use the latest version of Internet Exlorer 6 or Netscape as your browser..

- It is possible that the "Java Virtual Machine", necessary for your browser to run Java codes, is not installed or turned on. For that:

* In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools Menu >> Internet Options >> Advanced tab >> Microsoft Vm; everything must be checked in this category. Then click OK.

* Close Internet Explorer (no need to restart the computer) and restart Internet Explorer.

* In the View Menu >> Java Console : your Java version should be Microsoft (R) VM for Java 5.0 Release 5.0.0.3x.

* Otherwise, update Windows by clicking on Windows Update System.

Caution ! Never close Internet Explorer (or Netscape) on the Finale viewer page, but first come back to the previous page, or temporarily turn off the Internet connection to close the Internet Explorer window; a bug of this program may cause your computer to restart all alone. But don't worry, it's the only bug reported for now, and this program has no virus or spyware!
